Hershey's chocolate is a staple treat among many American families. I wanted to create a new line of Hershey bars with a specific target audience in mind: Couples in love. Each chocolate bar is meant to represent a specific romantic atmosphere/emotion, such as the feeling of falling in love (Fallin' For You) or the bittersweet feeling of love lost (Ocean's Apart). Since a lot of people struggle to communicate their feelings, why not let Hershey's speak for you!
I wanted the package design to stand out rather than the brand name. Even though every bar has its own unique design and color palette, they're unified with the typographic treatment of the Hershey brand name and their cursive title. I created five new flavor types with a brief description on the back explaining why this chocolate is right for you.
